Founder

An entrepreneur serving entrepreneurs, Yann ASSOR is the Founder of BV CAPITAL AFRICA.
He began his professional career alongside Serge Trigano, President of Mama Shelter. Passionate about mergers & acquisitions, entrepreneurs and their growth projects, he subsequently joined the advisory firm KPMG, then the French Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations as Head of European Financial Operations for the Transdev Group.

Driven by his ambition to thrive in an international environment, he joined the prestigious Mergers & Acquisitions department of PwC France, where he completed numerous cross-border transactions on behalf of international groups and major investment funds.

In 2010, Yann partnered with PwC to develop the Transactions practice in Morocco, where over the years he built a Transactions team recognised as one of the most comprehensive on the market.

Yann Assor has developed throughout his professional career a dual perspective: that of the financial investor and that of the Mergers & Acquisitions advisor. His constant objective is to create value for companies and the people who make them.

Driven by an entrepreneurial vision, he decided to create BV CAPITAL AFRICA in 2022 in order to experience what his clients — owner-managers and investment funds — go through themselves. Close to his clients and fully committed, Yann has surrounded himself with a highly qualified, multi-disciplinary team to support him in the firm’s growth.

Yann is a graduate of La Sorbonne University, ESSEC Business School and also holds a degree in Finance from the Sorbonne. He holds the Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA) designation awarded by the French Society of Financial Analysts. He has also obtained accreditation as an Investment Advisor from the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF). In addition, Yann is a member of the Moroccan Private Equity Association (AMIC).
